Sophie Lemieux is best known for her photorealistic renditions and her use of vivid colours. This Ottawa native’s works are predominantly portraits, abstracts and still life. While self-taught in her practice, Lemieux completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Carleton University in 2007, where she majored in Art History. She practices art in her home-based studio, where she experiments with new mediums and techniques to continue to evolve her craft.
